Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

My sister got this from her neighborhood cookbook and it is delicious. A great twist on a cheese ball.
Ingredients
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. milk chocolate chips, divided
1/2 c. diced toasted almonds
Directions
Mix together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Mix in powdered sugar. Chop 3/4 cup chocolate chips and fold into cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Shape into a ball and refrigerate for 1 more hour. Powder 1/4 c. chocolate chips. Roll the ball into the powdered chocolate chips and nuts if desired.
Serve with graham crackers or graham or chocolate sticks
*I made two of these. One without nuts and the other I melted the cream cheese too much and it wouldn't form into a ball so I mixed the nuts into the mixture and put it all in a serving dish. It was like a thick dip and the first one to go. Yummy!!
