Ingredients:
2 long spears of pineapple
1 banana
Huge handful of spinach
2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups ice
(You can switch out the water and concentrate for 11/2 cups orange juice)
Directions:
Blend together and enjoy. You'll be surprised how good this is and you'll feel good about yourself and feel like a good mom for getting fruit and vegetables in your kids.
My 5 year old calls it the leprechaun drink and loves it.
I also freeze this into ice cubes then put some in a cup for me and the kids. Makes it fun. Especially if you have the shape ice cube trays from IKEA.
After you make it, try adding in other fruits and juices. I think the pineapple keeps it the sweetest.

We do all sorts of green smoothies at our house. A couple of tips we love: freeze the bananas... it makes the consistency creamy. So good! Also, a little scoop of vanilla protein powder can be a good addition if you want a little more power to it.
great idea! i was making green smoothies for aaron and me for a week or so. we kept experimenting and trying to get it as sweet as possible to hide the veggie flavor for aaron... we never tried pineapple though... so we will do that.
