Amazing Apple Crisp

So I had some apples I needed to use and what better use than apple crisp. My idea of perfect apple crisp is to have as much "crisp" as you have "apple" so here is my slightly altered (I punched up the crisp) version. We loved it and would recommend it warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy
Ingredients:
6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
2 cubes butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp cinammon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray Pam cooking spray in a 9 x 13 pan. Fill the bottom of the pan with sliced apples. Mix together remaining ingredients and sprinkle the crumbled mixture over the apples. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Yummy!!!
I like the flavor the apples can soak into the crisp but I only eat the crisp when I make this. Thanks for sharing.

I have a question. Do you mix the apples with the sugar and cinnamon then put the rest on top or are the apples alone on the bottom?
My recipe mixes the apples with the sugar and cinnamon. I was just wondering if it makes a difference.

Okay, I am not a fan of hot fruit (except for peaches in peach cobbler) but this looks SO yummy. I may have to break my childhood eating rule.

I didn't mix the apples with cinnamon and sugar. I mixed that with the butter and oats. I just sliced the apples into the pan, topped with the crispy yumminess and baked.
