Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or margarine
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
16 oz canned pumpkin
2 cups sugar
3 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger (I omitted this one)
2 teaspoons nutmeg
2 cups chocolate chips (I used large milk chocolate chips)
Directions:
Cream butter, vanilla, eggs, sugar. Add Pumpkin. Stir in all dry. Finally chocolate chips. Bake on greased cookie sheet! Bake 10 minutes 375 degrees. Glaze while still warm.
Glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons orange juice
zest of one small orange
powdered sugar
milk (to desired consistency)
*The glaze recipe was adapted by me from two different recipes. If you aren't a fan of the 'orange' idea, simply leave the orange ingredients out!
Yum.
ReplyDeleteI have pumpkin sitting in my fridge waiting for me to put it to good use. Here we go.
Mmmmm....I tasted these. They are GOOD! I now have two pumpkin desserts I need to try.
ReplyDeleteokay, I made them and I am loving them. With that orange glaze they are so interesting - chocolate, orange, pumkin - who would have thought it would make such a good combination. I need give half of them away or I could do some serious damage.
